MotoGP-race at lake Balaton

Hungary received the right to organize MotoGP races from 2009 on. After the five-year agreement was signed, the construction of the race track began next to the village of Sávoly,  near lake Balaton to host the first Hungarian MotoGP race already in September, 2009.  According to further plans, a golf-course and a spa hotel will be built by the Spanish real estate investor, Sedesa.
